David, Main Brain at Bump 'n Grind, returned from his 15th year at Black Rock City where he's known as Shackleton. What was supposed to be a 4hr Sunset deep playa art tour with The Church of The Open Mind art car, turned into a 1+hr wedding event / rain storm. It's important to embrace Immediacy - a core principal of Burning Man. So we did. We pulled up some wedding, inspired tunes and made our way onto the playa.
We bounced through the city streets, picked up the Bride and Groom (you can see them in the lower right) and their wedding party all dressed in red. The wedding was set to take place at a huge piece of art, a heart and slide, in deep playa.
Regrettably a storm came in and the wedding didn't happen, but we kept dancing and playing until it was too wet and cold. Some of us tried to make it back to the city, 2.5 miles away - while others of us huddled together, played games and made the most of another wild situation in Black Rock City.
