This coffee is juicy and tart due to the Anaerobic process where the beans are fermented, prior to being dried. It's a rather new methodology being incorporated by farms across the world. In part inspired by the sour beer phenomenon.

Staying true to our other principals and presenting only conscientious coffee - we're super excited that this one is also Rain Forrest certified, helping preserve the ecology in an intensely dire deforrestation situation in Brazil. At the same time, women owned farms address the historically overly male dominated coffee farm market. Diversifying the economic power of the purse is good for society.
